Emma is a full-time scientist and spare-time creative writer. She writes tiny stories called flash fiction.

Her flash fiction has been published online on websites such as Nanoism and 101 Words. In December 2019, she won the Scottish Book Trust’s 50 Word Fiction Competition.

Emma is a member of her local writing group, West Lothian Writers.
